DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is calling out outsiders who are simply protesting to engage in criminal activity.
Speaking to reporters, the mayor said 75-percent of arrests from protests Sunday were of people not from Detroit. He said citywide gatherings remained peaceful until Friday when some groups attacked police cars.
Duggan added the disrespect from these demonstrators was disappointing.
