KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A school in Kalamazoo County is apparently violating the mask mandate issued by the County Health Department…but department officials are refusing to confirm what school it is.
WWMT News 3 is reporting that the department is working with officials at the school to bring them into compliance, but is also looking at possible legal avenues to force the school to follow the mandate.
According to that order, all students and staff who are in K-6 classrooms must wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
A spokesperson for the department said that parents of students at the school are aware of the situation, so it is not necessary to reveal the name of the school while negotiations are continuing.
