LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – The state Bureau of Elections is investigating a charge of signature fraud involving a ballot drive that wants to ban a kind of abortion in Michigan.
The Coalition to Protect Access to Care is challenging signatures gathered by Michigan Values Life, pointing out that in one instance, it appears that the same person signed different names.
The Bureau has until July 24th to make a recommendation to the Board of Canvassers, which will decide if Michigan Values Life has enough valid signatures to put the measure on the ballot.
