MILTON TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — A man from Niles has been killed in a three car head-on collision in Cass County.
Deputies aren’t saying why 31-year-old Ryon Koth lost control of his vehicle and strayed across the centerline on U.S. 12 in Milton Township just before 6 pm, but they say it was immediately struck by two other vehicles coming in the opposite direction.
Both Koth and one of the other drivers, 26-yer-old Victoria Mallard were loaded on to ambulances and taken to South Bend Memorial for emergency treatment.
A passenger in the Koth vehicle, 52-year-old Joseph Johnson of Niles was pronounced dead at the scene.
It remains under investigation and charges could result.
