UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — USA Today is asking the public to rank the “Best of the Best” in a wide range of craft beer categories and west Michigan is represented in three of them.
Bell’s Brewery in Comstock is on the list for the “Best Beer Tour,” up against 19 other craft breweries across the nation.
Hopcat in Grand Rapids is in the running for the “Best Beer Bar” in the nation.
Grand Rapids will be up against Milwaukee, New York, Chicago, Denver and St. Louis, among others, for the “Best Beer Scene.”
The only other entry from this state is The Michigan Summer Beer Festival in Ypsilanti, which is a finalist for the “Best Beer Festival.”
Considering there are 6200 craft brewers in the U.S. and 100 finalists, that’s a good showing.
Fans can vote once daily online until March 25th.
