LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is proposing a 180 million dollar proposal that would be used to improve tap water quality in the state. WOOD TV 8 reports that the plan would include the removal of lead pipes and water fountains in schools, and help to battle contamination by chemicals.
