KENOSHA , WI (WKZO AM/FM) — A woman that was reported missing and endangered from Portage last week has been found dead in Wisconsin.
39-year-old Amanda Hanover was last seen on Monday March 18th by family members in Kalamazoo County and her vehicle was found abandoned on Fisherman’s Circle in Kenosha, which is just south of Milwaukee on the western shore of Lake Michigan.
A body was discovered Saturday afternoon that Kenosha Police confirmed was Hanover on Monday.
She was discovered about a mile away from her vehicle, near the shoreline off of 3rd Avenue.
Reports say Hanover has no ties to the Kenosha area and the exact cause of her death has not been released.
