EAST LANSING, MI (WJXQ) — Tom Izzo is hosting a run/walk on the campus of Michigan State University Saturday morning. The events include a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Walk, Children’s Races and a Virtual 5K.
The Izzo Legacy events, all scheduled to begin Aat various times Saturday morning, will focus on fitness, fun, family, Spartan spirit and charitable giving! Most events will start at the south end of the Breslin Center.
All event proceeds and donations to this race will go directly to charities, including Cristo Rey Community Center, Greater Lansing Food Bank, Holy Cross Services and Ele’s Place.
In addition, the Green/White MSU football scrimmage begins Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Spartan Stadium. Admission to the game is free.
