WEST MICHIGAN (WHTC-AM/FM) — A winter-weather advisory remains in effect until 4 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019, in West Michigan, according to the National Weather Service. (See traffic incidents on I-96 in Allegan/Ottawa counties here: whtc.com/galleries.)
Roads are extremely slippery. Already, 1 to 3 inches of snow have accumulated in many West Michigan towns, but some areas have as many as 8 inches of snow.
Plows have been working but snow-covered roads and limited visibility continue to be challenges. Drivers are advised to slow down and leave extra space between vehicles — to to completely clear their vehicle’s windows, license place, head and tail lights of snow.
