KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies are investigating two armed robberies both in the same night.
They were first called to the Gourdneck Lake Party Store in the 11000 block of Portage Road just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday after 3 suspects entered the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.
Officers then responded to a second armed robbery at a Marathon gas station in the Village of Mendon in St. Joseph County.
Four subjects entered were taken into custody, but the news release did not state exactly when this incident occurred or if the two robberies are connected.
No names or further details have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
