HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Pat Sajak has been named as the new chair of the Hillsdale College Board of Trustees.
The host of the popular TV game show Wheel of Fortune has been serving as the Board’s vice chairman for 15 years.
Sajak succeeds William Brodbeck as Board Chair.
He told the Hillsdale Collegian campus newspaper one of his goals is to continue spreading the national outreach of the private school.
Brodbeck says the fact Sajak didn’t graduate from Hillsdale hasn’t been and won’t be an issue.
Vice President Mike Pence gave the spring commencement address last May at Hillsdale and the college awarded U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell an honorary doctorate of public service earlier this month.
