LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan House has smacked the snow day issue right back to the State Senate, essentially approving an identical bill to the one that was passed out of the upper chamber on Tuesday.
It would forgive four more snow days, but removes a provision in the original House version but provided funding for hourly workers who missed days and lost pay.
House Sponsor Ben Fredericks says he hopes this does the trick.
Time is running out and the pressure is on with just over a month to go before the school year ends, and parents want to make plans.
