UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — May is National Pet Month and it’s a perfect weekend to bring home a new four-legged friend.
The Bissell Pet Foundation is hosting their Empty the Shelters adoption day Saturday at over 100 participating organizations in 20 states.
Families can adopt a pet that has been spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heart wormed checked and micro chipped for only $25 and the foundation will cover the rest of the adoption fee.
Adopters must also cover any required county licensing registration fees.
