ST. CLAIR COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — After a couple weeks of no new cases, Michigan’s measles count is now at 49.
Officials with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services say this case involves an international traveler from St. Clair County.
The infected individual also made stops in Macomb County, possibly exposing other people to the disease. Those exposure sites are:
- May 11, 5 – 7 p.m. Costco, 27118 Gratiot, Roseville.
- May 12, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Parish, 41233 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights.
They add that this case is not related to the Southeast Michigan outbreak.
Health officials are still urging Michiganders to get vaccinated for measles.
