ALLEGAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 21-year-old Wayland man has been sentenced to up to 15 years in prison for a July 2018 crash that killed a newlywed couple fromt he Holland area.
Jacob Scot Damron plead no contest Monday to two felony counts of operating while intoxicated causing death. Sources say Damron had used medical marijuana and was speeding. His minimum sentence is just over 7 years.
He was accused in the July 17, 2018 crash off of M-40 near Hamilton that killed 24-year-old Logan Albaugh and his 22-year-old wife Hannah.
