MUSKEGON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –Officials are warning not to swim in Lake Michigan at Pere Marquette Park in Muskegon due to elevated E. coli levels.
E. Coli can trigger diarrhea, urinary tract infections, respiratory illnesses and pneumonia, among other problems.
What caused the high levels of E. coli bacteria is unclear.
