HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Two people were hurt in a crash just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019, in Georgetown Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill.
It happened when a 19-year-old Jenison woman was driving north on Port Sheldon Street in a red Toyota but failed to stop at the intersection with Chicago Drive. A speeding eastbound white Dodge Charger, with a 26-year-old Grand Rapids man at the wheel, hit her Toyota.
The crash spun the Toyota around several times, flpping the Charger into the median. .
Both drivers went by LIFE EMS ambulance to Grand Rapids area hospitals, with serious but non-life threatening injures, Dill said.
The crash remains under investigation.
