HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 4-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after falling off a tractor and being run over by it, just before 9 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Sykes.
It happened on the 7500 block of 104th Avenue, where police learned a 34-year-old male had been driving the tractor with the child as a passenger, when the boy fell from the tractor and under its wheels.
AMR EMS started treatment, and the boy was taken by Aeromed to Helen Devos Children’s Hospital. This incident remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives.
