Roadwork set for highways in Branch and Calhoun Counties

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — M-DOT set to begin two road repair projects on Tuesday: M-60 in Branch County and M-96 in Calhoun County.

The areas include 9 miles of M-96, Helmer Road from Columbia Avenue to Dickman Road in Battle Creek and Springfield, 7 miles of M-60 from the St. Joseph and Branch county line to 8 Mile Road near Union City, and 9 miles of M-60 from Old US-27 to 24 1/2 Mile Road near Tekonsha.

Commuters should expect single-lane closures and regulators in these areas.

M-DOT says the repairs should be completed by Friday, September 24th.
