HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s efforts to close Line 5, the pipeline running under the straits of Mackinac, has drawn fire from several areas, including Hudsonville Republican Senator Roger Victory. He questioned her motives for the drive to close Line 5.
“Is it representing the needs of the residents of the State of Michigan?” Victory said. “Or is it representing a different agenda beyond the scope of the State of Michigan?”
Victory told WHTC Nessel’s Line 5 press and other matters may cause Republicans to cut the AG’s budget.
