SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM)– After the Drowning of a 13-year-old in South Haven, many are calling for the return of lifeguards on the city’s beaches.
As of Thursday Morning, over 5,700 people have signed the online petition.
17 people have drowned in Lake Michigan so far this year, and beachgoers are hoping to find someone to ensure that everyone is safe at all times and all rules are enforced.
