UNDATED, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The State of Michigan will receive over $23 million in funding from the Federal Railroad Administration to fix railroad infrastructure.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will receive the grant and use it for fixing rails and other areas that need upgrades.
The rails in need of repair range from Kalamazoo to Dearborn. The plan is being touted as the “Kalamazoo-Dearborn State of Good Repair Project.”
At this time, it is unknown when the repairs will begin.
