UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s not exactly a well-known storm advisory…but it’s real…a geomagnetic storm watch has been issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and has grown stronger in the last day.
This means if nighttime skies cooperate, people living in Michigan and the other Great Lakes states have a good chance of seeing Northern Lights for the next two nights.
According to NOAA, the storm watch will begin Thursday about 8 p.m. in Michigan and last for roughly 48 hours.
