CASSOPOLIS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County deputies were called to a crash that occurred on Runkle Street near Anderson Road in Milton Township.
31 year-old Corey Geyer of Elkhart IN, was traveling east on Runkle Sreet when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. He was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities believe he was wearing his seatbelt, and at this time are undetermined if intoxicating substances were involved.
The Edwardsburg/Ontwa Township Police Department, SMCAS ambulance, and Edwardsburg Fire Department provided assistance at the accident which remains under investigation.
