DEARBORN, Mi (WTVB) – According to AAA Michigan, gas prices in the state have dropped nine cents compared to a week ago.
Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $2.48 per gallon for regular unleaded. That price is two cents more than this time last month and 21 cents more than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $37 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $10 from when prices were their highest last May.
Most expensive gas price averages: Ann Arbor ($2.57), Metro Detroit ($2.54), Marquette ($2.50)
Least expensive gas price averages: Jackson ($2.31), Traverse City ($2.37), Grand Rapids ($2.38)
