LINCOLNSHIRE, ILLINOIS (WKZO AM/FM) — Here is a different story about retail…the brick and mortar kind.
It appears the Gander Mountain outlets in Kalamazoo and Coldwater will be reopening under new management and with a slightly different name after their parent chain went bankrupt last year.
An Illinois based firm called “Camping World Holdings” bought the sports retailer’s assets at auction and now plans to reopen 59 of their locations nationwide under the name Gander Outdoor, 8 in Michigan.
They are opening already and should be completed with the openings this June.
