KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — If you think road crews will be getting a break now that the weather has warmed up, think again.
They will be doing a quick change from snow plows and salt to shovels and cold-patch this week because if forecasters are correct about rain and warm temperatures, area road crews will be seeing a lot of potholes.
In the meantime they will be pushing snow back off the shoulders so standing water can get to drains as the snow melts.
You may be dodging potholes instead of black ice for the rest of the work week, and watch for plow trucks on the shoulders.
