CHARLOTTE (WKZO AM/FM) — The victim impact phase of the sentencing hearing for Larry Nassar has concluded and Eaton County Judge Janice K. Cunningham now plans to hand down her sentence on Monday.
73 of the Nassar survivors spoke during this third and final sentencing hearing for the former doctor and once again the last word was left to Rachael Denhollander of Kalamazoo who asked Judge Cunningham to give Nassar the maximum allowed under their plea deal.
The judge is expected to stay within the 25 to 40-year sentence agreed to in the plea bargain when she hands down her sentence.
The Attorney General’s office has created a hotline for anyone who believes they have credible information linked to the investigation at MSU, its handling of Larry Nassar’s sexual assaults and other related matters.
It can be reached by telephone or online through the end of the investigation. The phone line will be manned during office hours but information can be sent by e-mail at anytime.
