LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of Health has recorded a dramatic spike in the number of reported flu cases in southwest Michigan.
It may have coincided with the recent rash of school closings in Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties.
The latest national numbers from the Centers from Disease Control released friday shows that at least 63 children have died from the flu this season, which has yet to peak.
