DEARBORN (WKZO AM/FM) — Gas prices are all over the place. AAA is reporting that gas prices in Michigan fell by a dime a gallon in the last week, while gas prices nationally have gone up 7 cents in the last two weeks.
The National average was $2.65 per gallon, the State average according to the Auto Club was $2.57 per gallon, but it was possible to find prices that were ten to twenty cents per gallon lower than that in West Michigan.
National Pollster Trilby Lundberg expects prices to stabilize for now, and then go up, when refineries start switching over to production of summer blends.
But given the swings we have seen around here, it may be difficult to make any predictions.
