UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — A Flash Flood Watch has been declared for the region through Wednesday afternoon with a lot of rain expected, a lot of snow melting, and nowhere for the water to go because the ground is still frozen.
Forecasters say we could see two to three inches in south west Michigan over the next two days with spring storms not only dropping a lot of rain, but bringing high temperatures in the 50’s and perhaps cracking 60 tTuesday.
We could even see some thunder and lightning before cooler temperatures move in tomorrow night.
Kalamazoo City officials will be monitoring that flood prone area in Southtown that became inundated with high water twice last year. ]
They are hoping it won’t repeat this week.
