LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – There are three fresh leaves on the laurel of honors that Pure Michigan has received over the years.
During the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International awards ceremony on Tuesday night, the tourism marketing arm of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation earned three Adrian Awards in Influencer Marketing, Online Feature Placement and Digital Marketing. A gold went to “Pure Michigan Hidden Gems: Influencer Press Trip;” a silver for “Falling in Love with Pure Michigan: Drone Footage of Tahquamenon Falls;” and a bronze for “Michigan.org: How to Build a Pure-ly Unique Website.”
Pure Michigan Vice President Dave Lorenz says that these are more than just proverbial pats on the back from peers in the travel industry. “The State of Michigan’s tourism industry is putting together a product that is seen as being one of the best in the country in drawing people into the state, to travel here as a leisure destination,” he remarked during a weekly interview on “WHTC Morning News.”
Pure Michigan has earned 23 Adrian Awards since 2013.
