KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A lot of people have taken notice and complimented students at Kalamazoo Central for starting an online petition urging Congressman Fred Upton to work to improve school safety.
Among the admirers is former President Barack Obama who wrote out a note congratulating the students on the petition and on their mission, and said he would be watching what other achievements they would attain in the future.
So far the total number of signatories has reached over 185-thousand on the petition.
