KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Democratic Gubernatorial candidate ABDUL EL-SAYED held a town hall meeting in Kalamazoo last night, saying he has been very busy and very encouraged by what he is seeing on the campaign trail.
What he is not so encouraged about is the reaction of the State’s leaders on the school safety and gun control issue, saying they are failing to address the real issues.
He says politicians may blame shootings in Parkland and at CMU on mental illness but all societies have mentally ill people.
He says there seems to be a huge disconnect between the state government in place and the people of Michigan on a whole range of issues, and that’s why he is touring the state and running for office.
The Candidate also visited WKZO AM/FM this morning to appear on Ken Lanphear’s show.
