CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) -A crash involving a St. Joseph County Transit Authority bus and a semi tractor trailer at the intersection of U.S. 131 and Riverside Drive in Constantine Township Monday morning sent the bus driver and the passengers on the bus to area hospitals for treatment.
Michigan State Police at White Pigeon say the accident happened at about 7:30 a.m. when the driver of the bus failed to stop for a stop sign.
The bus struck the trailer of the semi.
Troopers cited the bus driver for disregarding a stop sign.
