UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — As March Madness is underway, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is warning basketball fans about fake ticket scams.
Schuette says consumers should know their vendor and do their research before paying top dollar for the biggest basketball tournament of the year.
He added that fans buying tickets online should use a secure website and a credit card if possible to give buyers the option to dispute a charge.
Victims of a ticket scam can file a complaint to the Attorney General’s office.
