MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A 33-year-old man who is a teacher for Marshall Public Schools is lodged at the Calhoun County Correctional Facility on a charge of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having sexual contact with a 16-year-old female student of his.
The arrest took place following an investigation by Calhoun County Sheriff Detectives and Marshall Police.
The suspects name is not being released pending his arraignment which is expected to take place on Thursday.
A search warrant was executed at the suspects home on Halbert Road in Bedford Township.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says in a news release that detectives were able to seize electronics and other items at the home related to the investigation.
