HASTINGS (WKZO AM/FM)– A 17-year-old from Hastings is the latest teen to be arrested for allegedly making a false bomb threat and a false threat of terrorism.
Those threats shut down the schools in that Barry County town one day in late February. They say the closures that took place Friday were not connected.
Hastings school and law enforcement officials also plan to petition the judge for reimbursement from the teen for the costs of enforcement, and for shutting down the school system for a day, if he is convicted.
