KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) —Just as the almost constant stream of stories sparked by the Larry Nassar scandal was beginning to slow a little, there has been a burst of new news in the past few days.
Kalamazoo native Rachael Denhollander has been named one of Time Magizines’s 100 most influential people of the year for her role in exposing the crimes of Larry Nassar.
Time says she asked a simple question…”What is a little girl worth?” at Nassar’s sentencing
Denhollander is now a lawyer who lives with her husband and children in Indiana.
Just this week two new lawsuits representing survivors were filed, one in Texas and back here in Michigan.
Their lawyer James White called Larry Nassar the authentic real life “bogeyman”.
