HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Services Grand Rapids meteorologists are cautioning area residents to be ready for possible severe thunderstorms this afternoon into the evening — and the possibility of a tornado.
Rain, delivered as part of the northern remnants of subtropical storm Alberto, could fall at a rate of an inch an hour, according to meteorologists, but damaging winds “are the primary hazard.”
Small stream flooding could happen if the storms linger overheard.
