CASS COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — A Marcellus couple suffered injuries when they took evasive action to avoid what might have been an even worse fate.
Ryan and Jayme Lynn Hampton were onboard a motorcycle when they came around a curve on Dutch Settlement Street and were confronted with an tractor hauling an oversized and menacing looking farm implement.
He headed for the ditch to avoid hitting the implement, lost control in the gravel along the road and the two, both age 37, were thrown off the bike.
They were not wearing helmets.
Both are expected to recover from their injuries.
