COLDWATER/MARSHALL/KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – ‘Tis the season for county fairs, and after a year off due to the pandemic, several are planning on once again taking place.
However, with the spectre of another outbreak looming, many are preparing to take steps to protect those who participate and attend.
The Branch County Fair is underway, and while masking is not mandatory, officials are urging those who attend to wear them while indoors.
Calhoun County Fair officials are also taking steps to make the event as safe as possible.
Organizers of the Kalamazoo County Youth Fair have already announced that the traditional fair will not be held, but activities involving 4H members, including the livestock auction, will take place.
