HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland’s 58th District Court Judge Susan Jonas presided over the arraignment of former Max Transit executive director, Linda LeFebre, according to a Holland Sentinel report.
She allegedly embezzled more than $20,000 from MAX Transit coffers.
Lefebre had been MAX Transit’s executive director for more than 17 years before being placed on leave earlier this year. She resigned on April 26.
Jonas set bond at $5,000. LeFebre is not in custody at this time. She’s scheduled to return to court on July 3.
If convicted, she could face up to 10 years in prison.
MAX Transit executive duties are currently divided between customer service and marketing manager Beth Higgs and operations manager Derek Broadbent.
