BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kellogg is recalling Honey Smacks cereal because they say the boxes may be contaminated with salmonella.
he boxes they are worried about are the 15 and 23 oz. packages are fresh out of the factory with a best-if-used-by date between June 14, 2018 to June 14, 2019.
The CDC says 73 people from 31 states have come down with salmonella infections after eating the cereal.
They say if you have a box of it, throw it away or take it back for a refund.
