LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is releasing the 2017 annual report of the OK2SAY student safety program.
The anonymous tip line has received over 4,600 tips in 2017 which is an increase of 72% compared to 2016, and Schuette says this year is already on track to beat record numbers.
OK2SAY presentations have been given to about 500,000 students across Michigan in 230 schools.
The types of tips reported last year were mainly suicide threats, bullying, self-harm, and drugs.
Students can submit confidential tips through phone call (8-555-OK2SAY or 855-565-2729), text (652729), email (ok2say@mi.gov), or online at ok2say.com.
