BENTON HARBOR (WKZO AM/FM) — A Berrien County double-murder suspect is being added to the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list.
FBI’s Timothy Slater says 40-year-old Antwan Tamon Mims is wanted for gunning down 22-year-old Cortez Miller and 29-year-old Michael Johnson outside a party in Benton Harbor on March 25th in front of about 100 partygoers.
He then calmly walked up to the two as they were lying on the ground injured and shot them dead.
Mims is the 519th person to be added to the list. 484 of them have been arrested or located giving authorities a 95% success rate.
U.S. Attorney Andrew Birge says Mims can run, and he can hide, but they will find him and bring him to justice.
Officials say he has multiple ties in Michigan, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio, and Illinois but he could be anywhere in the world.
Mims is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact their local FBI office, nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
A more detailed description of him can be found here.
