GRAND HAVEN (WKZO AM/FM) — An autopsy performed on the body of the latest victim to die in Lake Michigan has determined that drowning was the cause of death, but routine toxicology tests are being conducted to determine if there were contributing factors.
Authorities say the victim is 25-year-old Emmanuel Niyomugabo from Grand Rapids.
His body was found around noon Thursday about 30 feet from shore in the swimming area at Grand Haven State Park.
