SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Findlay, Ohio man who was wanted on outstanding warrants for arson and interfering with a 911 call during an alleged attempt to blow up his mother’s home in Albion last week is now facing numerous other charges in Calhoun County after he allegedly got drunk and sprayed hotel employees with a fire extinguisher Tuesday night.
57-year-old Scott Wilson was arraigned Wednesday. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department was called to the Days Inn near Albion where they say Wilson sprayed the extinguisher in the hallways at two employees which caused minor injuries.
Wilson was said to have been drunk when he used the extinguisher to hit vehicles in the parking lot. Bystanders restrained him until deputies arrived.
The Sheriff’s Department says he was staying at the hotel but now he has accommodations at the Calhoun County Jail.
