BENTON HARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A 3-year-old Benton Harbor girl is recovering in the hospital after being shot while in bed inside her home early Saturday morning August 7.
Berrien County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 800 block of Monroe around 4:37 a.m. and found a child who had been shot in the arm. The 3-year-old was then transported by Medic 1 to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
According to authorities, crime scene investigators found a large number of bullet holes on the house.
