GUN PLAIN TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a crash that occurred very early Sunday morning, pinning an 18-year-old female in the wreckage.
Police say speed and alcohol were not factors, and are trying to determine why she strayed over the center line and went off the pavement on the opposite side of 106th Avenue in Gun Plain Township and struck a tree at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday.
It took an hour to pry her out of the vehicle.
She was loaded into an ambulance and taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
Her condition was not released.
